Today Was A Fairytale

Yesterday, we took a GLORIOUS extra day off this week. It was something we were supposed to do right after John's prison ordeal, but didn't have the chance to because we had family visiting, etc. So....we took the whole day off, left our kid with a wonderful friend, and just...relaxed. It was marvelous! We spent the whole day at the pool, eating dried mangoes (courtesy of our sister, Laura, who brought them from the Philippines...yum) and spicy shrimp chips (courtesy of one of my Chinese girls). We then took a two hour nap at our hotel, tried to go out for sushi but it was closed and so settled for pizza, and then watched COPS, SNL, Modern Family, and The Office until we couldn't keep our eyes open any longer. Then we got to sleep in until 9:30!!! The longest ever in FOREVER! Ok, so the day wasn't a FAIRYTALE...but it was great =0) I love hangin' with my hubby- eating, laughing, watching ridiculous shows...whatever =0)
