Save a Bottle...or Twenty
We've officially made the switch! We're only buying Coke in glass bottles. We're saving money, saving plastic, supporting a local snack shack down the road, and...Coke tastes WAY better in a glass bottle. Sounds weird? It's colder, fizzier, and doesn't have any metallic or plasticy taste. I've been trying to get my husband to make the switch for several months (because HE is the avid Coke drinker in this house), and now that he has, he swears he will never go back. He LOVES it! And all it takes is slightly more effort in that we have to return the carton of empty bottles to the boutique down the street when we're done. I realize that it may not always be this easy, depending on where we live. Here, they still use a lot of glass bottles, although far less than before. I saw some glass bottles in the states this summer at a few grocery stores. If you're a soda drinker and have the opportunity to do so, make the switch!
You get just a little less in a glass bottle than in a can, but that's better for you anyway =0)
