Well, today is two special things: it's Grad. day at our school, and it's John's and my fourth wedding anniversary. I wouldn't have PICKED this day to celebrate, but it is what it is. =0) As I reflect back on this year, it's been one of the hardest for me personally, but it's also filled with great memories and so many amazing people that I'm blessed to have in my life. I've been saying goodbye my whole life, and let me tell you, it NEVER gets easier. As I was checking the senior girls out of their rooms today for the last time, I couldn't help but just start bawling like a little baby. It hurts when you let go of kids you've invested so much time and energy into. We've had some of these girls for three years. But at the same time, it's encouraging to think that we've had an opportunity to make an impression that is (hopefully) a positive one. It doesn't make saying goodbye easier, but it makes what we do worth it. I'm going to miss my girls =0(
