In light of what's happening in Bangkok these days, I've been thinking a lot about Thailand, my favorite country to travel to. It's been my dream to even be able to live there. I've always talked Thailand up to anyone who hasn't had the chance to go. I've now been to 35 different countries, and Thailand is STILL number one on my list. You get to experience great culture, food, natural beauty, friendly people, cheap thrills, great shopping...I could go on and on. My heart breaks for this country at this time, and I pray that they can resolve things quickly, before it gets really bad.
The islands are AMAZING...Phi Phi Island and Kho Samoui are my favorites =0)
I can't even say enough about the food. Sticky rice and mango...mmmmm...
The markets, whether night or day...best in the world. And CHEAP!!!
Unique culture and easy to experience.
John proposed to me on top of this waterfall! Awhhhhh...
The people are gorgeous and so friendly.
