La, la, la, la, lahhhh...WHAT?
Sunday's are always kind of crazy around here. I play the drums for the worship team, and have to be at church early for practice. Therefore I find myself scampering about trying to get myself, my son, and my dorm ready for the day. I have to set out breakfast, get Levi up, take a shower, make Levi's breakfast, set out the girls' pills, change Levi, blow dry my bangs, pick out Levi's outfit (then explain to John how the outfit works), attempt at finding something cute/drummer friendly to wear myself, grab breakfast, yell one last time to John that Levi had better have some shoes on when he gets to church, bounce out the door and without a doubt, be the last person to arrive for practice. I think I have a few good excuses, though =0) This morning, to add to the bizarity (yes, new awesome word) of my usual Sunday madness, I ran out into the dorm only to spot a nasty, soggy corn cob laying on the living room coffee table amongst some other things. We are super anal around here about the girls picking up after themselves, so you can imagine the look on my face as I caught a glimpse of the cob...laying there...not on a plate. Mmmmmmm...awesome. Turns out it was our resident 7th grader, which is a better option than it being one of our older girls. Not that big of a deal...just so, so random.
